Launched in 2010 to counter the lack of a formal arts and culture curriculum in public schools, the MTN Bushfire Schools the MTN Bushfire High Schools Festival supported by MTN Bushfire, and the MTN Bushfire Primary Schools Festival supported by MTN Bushfire and the European Union welcome learners and teachers from across the country.

The festival works towards providing sustainable access to the arts and developing a unique platform of creative expression and dialogue for young people through creative performances, workshops, educational seminars and interactive outreach programs.
